摘 要:homework, a uniquely versatile educational activity transcending ages, abilities, and cultures, is shaped by a broader array of variables than any other instructional practice. as a perennial topic of public interest, it has intrigued researchers for generations. this presentation opens by discussing three theoretical models central to homework research. it then highlights examples from several studies conducted over the last twenty years. the presentation concludes with insights into existing research gaps and strategies for further advancing the study of homework.
简 介:许建中,1994年在美国哥伦比亚大学获得教育博士学位。现为美国密西西比州立大学(mississippi stateuniversity)终身教授和博士生导师。他的学术论文发表在美国和欧洲一流教育研究学报上,包括美国教育研究学报(american educational research journal),教育研究评论(educational research review),教师教育学报(journal of teacher education),计算机和教育computers& education),互联网和高等教育(internetand higher education)等刊物。迄今已发表138篇论文,其中119篇发表在ssci/sci期刊上,58篇文章是是独著(42%),50篇文章是第一作者或通讯作者(36%),采用定性和定量相结合的研究方法,内容涵盖“自我调节(self-regulation)、教育和心理测量(educational and psychological measurement)、家庭作业(homework)、多元文化(cultural diversity)和远程教育(distancelearning)”等方面。斯坦福大学(stanford university)于2023年10月4日编制的全球研究人员名单中名列全球前2%。
